Clinton County is quite diversified when it come to job offerings. We have a multitude of business that have been a part of our community for over 30 years. Some of these companies are beginning to see second generation families as incoming employees. For example, Kramer Lumber, the second oldest mill-lumberyard in Indiana, is currently on its 6th generation. They have employees that have been there over 20 years.
In addition to the already deep rooted businesses, Clinton County has newer businesses that are well on their way to setting deep roots in the local business soil. One such company is Flavors on the square in Frankfort, Indiana. They have been in business since 2006 and have watched their company grow partly as a result of their consistent worker resource.
The Learning Network in conjunction with the Chamber is always putting together classes to increase worker development. Classes are designed by requests of the membership, often at low or no cost to the business.
