The Chamber is a not-for-profit business membership organization that helps promote the businesses and the business interests of our members. We come from diverse backgrounds: from small business, big corporations, government bodies and the military. Our History:
Clinton County had begun to experience an industrial development boom in the early 1900′s when the Frankfort Industrial Association, the forerunner of the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development, attracted several manufacturers to the area. These companies provided residents with hundreds of career opportunities and brought recognition to Frankfort. Since that time, commercial and industrial development has continued to grow progressively and local businesses continue to prosper and flourish. As a result, along with its strong agricultural community, Clinton County is home to some of the world’s largest industries and some of the greatest local and National retail businesses.
