What a Time to Live in Frankfort

What a time to live in Frankfort.  There are some naysayers who cannot see the great possibilities our community has in front of it.  The best time to live in Clinton County is now and ahead, not behind.  The fog of pessimism blinds us to not be able to see carrot right in front of our faces.  We have a very diverse industrial park, we have many small businesses deeply rooted in our community, and we have future plans to make it even better.  There is one project in particular that can really bring our community a large sense of pride, give our residents new places to commune and enjoy.

This is the Roundhouse Project.  This is a long term development.  We live in an instant gratification world, but really great things come to those with patience.  When this piece of history gets redone there will be a conference center, museum, garden, restaurant, and even more.  This is a game changer.  A regional conference center will bring folks to our community from the entire state of Indiana and create a nice influx of tourism dollars.  Direct (money spent by travelers in our community), indirect (gain by goods and service providers) and induced (spending by employees of businesses with the gain in payroll) will all get a boost.  This is what is meant by tourism dollars have 7 – 1 more impact than domestic spending.

There are several more projects on the burner that will have a great effect on our quality of life as a community.  We will keep you informed as info comes available.
